Privacy policy

We don't sell your data. We don't run advertising trackers. If you create an account, your plan is saved privately in it and is never public unless you publish it. Anything you type, upload, or record is sent to our AI provider only to write or read for your plan, with storage disabled.

What you type: your idea, customer, founder type, and the grounding details you add — used only to write your plan.

Your account: if you sign up, your email address and a secure sign-in record (we never see your password in plain form).

What you upload or record: documents you ask us to read and voice you ask us to transcribe are processed for you and not kept afterwards.

Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as browser type and time of request) kept briefly for security and reliability.

If you're signed in, your plan, grounding details, and any published chapters are stored in your private account area. If you're not signed in, your plan stays in your browser's local storage on your device. Published chapters are public exactly as the name suggests; everything else stays private to you.

To write each step, transcribe your voice, read uploaded documents, and write simple-language summaries, your inputs are sent to an AI model through a secure gateway. Requests are made with storage disabled and are not used by Startup Flir to train models.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing. You can delete a plan from this browser at any time with New in the Studio or by clearing site data; to delete an account plan or your account, contact us and we'll take care of it.

Startup Flir is intended for people aged 16 and over.
